The National Conference on Wilderness Medicine is organized by Well-Assembled Meetings (WAM) & Associations and will be held from May 29 - Jun 02, 2024 at Santa Fe Community Convention Center, Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States of America.
Program Objectives:
• Identify avoidance as well as treatment of altitude illness based on an understanding of the underlying physiology
• Recognize as well as correctly handle frostbite in the field
• Identify and also treat hypothermia in the field
• Identify cracks and also dislocations in the wild
• Recognize the pathophysiology, as well as treatment of heat-related illness
