Podcast 1: Alzheimer’s Disease: Thoughts from the Alzheimer’s Association
This educational activity is designed to provide clinicians who manage patients with Alzheimer’s disease with up-to-date information on the role of the Alzheimer’s Association in the comprehensive management of patients with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. The podcast will also address multidisciplinary care for these patients, as well as approaches for improving communication with both the patient and his or her caregiver using shared decision-making strategies.

Podcast 2: Alzheimer’s Disease: The Caregiver Perspective
This educational activity is designed to provide clinicians who manage patients with Alzheimer’s disease with up-to-date information on multidisciplinary care for these patients, as well as approaches to managing both the patient and his or her caregiver with shared decision-making strategies.

Podcast 3: Cases in Alzheimer’s Disease: Neurology – Part 1
This educational activity will deliver a case-based discussion with up-to-date information on the comprehensive management of patients with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Geared toward a variety of clinicians who manage patients with Alzheimer’s disease, the podcast will also address approaches for earlier identification of mild cognitive impairment, and how to make decisions regarding initial and subsequent treatment strategies for these patients.

Upon the completion of this program, attendees should be able to:
• Implement strategies to overcome barriers to the timely diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease, addressing stigma, applying quantitative assessments, and integrating neuroimaging as well as specialty referral in clinical assessment

This educational activity is designed to provide clinicians who manage patients with Alzheimer’s disease with up-to-date information on the interplay between clinicians in the comprehensive management of patients with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. The podcast is hosted by one neurologist and one primary care physician, who will provide case-driven examples surrounding multidisciplinary care for these patients, as well as deliver approaches for improving communication with both the patient and his or her caregiver using shared decision-making strategies.
