Ageing Australia

As Australia’s only national association for the aged care sector, they represent the majority of service providers, working together to create a sector that empowers older Australians to age with dignity, care and respect.

Ageing Australia is the national peak body representing providers across the aged care landscape, including retirement living, seniors housing, residential care, home care, community care and related services.

They help people ageing in Australia live their best lives by empowering their members to deliver high-quality, sustainable care. They drive trust, performance, and excellence across the sector.

They amplify their members’ voices to government, the community, and the media, ensuring their needs and contributions are recognised.

They also provide expert advice, essential resources, and tailored services that enable members to focus on delivering exceptional care.

Ageing Australia membership is open to all providers of aged and community care services, retirement living, seniors housing and related services (for example, disability service providers are eligible where they also provide services to older Australians).

Ageing Australia has specific mechanisms in place to ensure all members are equally represented and valued, regardless of their organisational size, structure, location or service offering.

To lead, advocate and provide support, advice and guidance to aged care providers to ensure a high performing and sustainable aged care sector so that older Australians can live their best lives.
