Bavarian Society for Obstetrics and Gynecology eV / Bayerische Gesellschaft fur Geburtshilfe und Frauenheilkunde e.V. (BGGF)

The purpose of the Bavarian Society for Obstetrics and Gynecology (BGGF) is to promote gynecological and obstetric science and to bring about a mutual exchange of ideas through personal contact . (§ 1 of the statutes) For this purpose, the BGGF organizes a congress with lectures, poster presentations and discussions every year at different locations, which is held every second year together with the Austrian Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics ( OEGGG ), alternately in Bavaria and in Austria.
