The Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants (GDPA) is a non-profit professional organization composed of members who provide dermatologic care or have an interest in the medical specialty of dermatology within the state of Georgia. GDPA was founded in 2002 and is a state affiliate chapter of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. GDPA Fellow members provide medical services as Physician Assistants (PAs) in collaboration with board-certified / board-eligible dermatologists in the state of Georgia.
GDPA exists to support and promote the professional development and careers of PAs in the specialty of dermatology within the state of Georgia. Our goals include expanding access and improving the quality of care in the specialty of dermatology for the citizens of Georgia. In addition, GDPA strives to develop and provide excellent continuing education programs and opportunities for our members and to help collaborating physicians integrate PAs into their medical practices.
GDPA Mission:
The Mission of the GDPA is to provide continuing medical education that enhances the skills, knowledge, and competence of its members in the practice of dermatology.
In addition, the GDPA will promote the communication of its members, encourage the development of collegial relationships, and act as an advocate for its members.
GDPA will also promote and advance the concept and utilization of Physician Assistant practice in collaboration with board-certified / board-eligible dermatologists within the state of Georgia.
