Illinois Optometric Association (IOA)

The Illinois Optometric Association (IOA) is the "Voice of Optometry" in Illinois.

For over a century, the IOA, a voluntary association of Illinois optometrists, has been dedicated to making optometry a stronger, better, more visible profession. It has worked diligently on all fronts to ensure that those who have earned the title of doctor of optometry have the opportunity to practice their profession to the fullest extent possible. Organized optometry ensures a voice in legislation that affects the profession and Their ability to care for Their patients to the fullest extent of Their training and licensure.
