Mission:
Establish ourselves as a world class Centre of Excellence to provide comprehensive trauma care
• To help establish pathways of pre-hospital care to minimize the morbidity and mortality by efficient and safe transfer of injured patients to appropriate point of care
• To optimize nationally the multidisciplinary management of patients with trauma
• To study the pattern of trauma and collect and collate data to present evidence in order to motivate the policy makers towards injury prevention
• To train healthcare providers to develop them into competent professionals fully capable of preventing, treating and rehabilitating trauma patients
• To serve as a national resource in cases of natural disasters, mishaps, or mass casualties in civilian population due to terrorist attacks or battle casualties
• Translate Trauma Research and Innovation into practice and establish contemporary standards and protocols
