Kentucky Society of Health-System Pharmacists (KSHP)

The Kentucky Society of Health-System Pharmacists (KSHP) is the membership organization that works on behalf of pharmacists in Kentucky who practice in hospitals and health systems. Since 1960 They have been on the forefront of efforts to improve medication use and enhance patient safety. Their advocacy efforts, publications, and educational offerings are designed to advance your practice as you improve patient care.

Mission:
To assist KSHP members in the provision of pharmaceutical care in organized health care settings throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

In pursuing this mission, the Kentucky Society of Health-System Pharmacists will facilitate the development achievement and improvement of pharmaceutical care by providing leadership in:

Representing its members; Facilitating communication among pharmaceutical professionals; Offering educational opportunities; Encouraging advancement of professional practice standards to ensure patients receive optimal care; Promoting pharmacy as an essential component of a total health care system.
