Maine Medical Association (MMA)

The Maine Medical Association continues to stay true to its Mission and Goals. Since its founding in Brunswick in 1853, MMA has been about physicians, their patients and public health. The Association is led by its volunteer Officers. The organization is one of fifty state medical societies that make up the American Medical Association and two delegates and two alternate delegates from MMA to the AMA House of Delegates make up our AMA Delegation.

Mission:
• To support Maine physicians
• To advance the quality of medicine in Maine
• To promote the health of all Maine citizens

Goal:
• To be the premier healthcare organization in Maine, recognized by all physicians and the public as the leader and the voice of the physician community.
