North Texas Nurse Practitioners (NTNP)

About
NTNP is dedicated to serving the interests of nurse practitioners (NPs) in North Texas, regardless of their specialty. NTNP is recognized as an affiliate member of the Texas Nurse Practitioners (TNP) and also as an affiliate organization of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). We currently have over 700 active members from various specialties, with about one-third of our membership consisting of student members.

Mission Statement:
The mission of North Texas Nurse Practitioners (NTNP)/Dallas Area (DA), as a non-profit organization, is to provide a local forum for networking and support of Nurse Practitioners or for nurses studying for an Advanced Practice Role as a Nurse Practitioner. The goals of the organization shall be educational, legislative, community involvement, and scholarly support of our members.

Vision Statement:
It is our vision to inspire leadership in educational and legislative endeavors, encourage the advancement of our profession with the support of students and members through precepting and mentoring programs, become active members in our communities informing the public of our profession, and serve as leaders in today's healthcare environment.

As stated in our mission and vision statements, NTNP is dedicated to the educational, legislative, community involvement, and scholarly support of our members.
