Ohio Permanente Medical Group (OPMG)

In 1964, a small Cleveland-area multi-specialty practice became the first health care group in Ohio to provide medical services on a prepaid basis. Over time, this organization expanded and eventually became the Ohio Permanente Medical Group, Inc. (OPMG), incorporating in 1981. Today, we number approximately 175 physicians and around 60 allied health professionals. Our physicians work out of more than a dozen Kaiser Permanente medical office facilities conveniently accessible to the Cleveland and Akron metropolitan areas. Physician-owned and managed, we partner with a non-profit health plan to provide our members with a full range of health care services. We are a closed system and feature no third-party payors.
