The Polish Ultrasound Society was founded in 1990 and currently has 1206 members who represent over 20 medical specialties.
The basic statutory activity of PTU is developing and propagating diagnostic applications of ultrasounds, inspiring members for creative scientific work, constant raising of knowledge and qualifications in the field of ultrasonography, using new scientific achievements in practice, monitoring the correctness of using ultrasound methods in diagnostics and therapy.
