Polish Urological Association / Polskie Towarzystwo Urologiczne (PTU)

The Polish Urological Association is an association of scientific and socio-professional nature existing since 1949.

The Society's main goals are to work on the progress of urology, to spread the achievements of science and technology among physicians working in the field of urology and cooperating with urologists, to encourage and implement physicians working in the field of urology for scientific work.

The Polish Urological Association is also involved in cooperation with representatives of other disciplines of science and technology for the development of urology, as well as nurturing tradition and disseminating knowledge about the history of Polish urology. PTU runs its own publishing business and organizes congresses, symposia and other urological events.
