Society for Clinical Nutrition in Switzerland / Gesellschaft fur klinische Ernahrung der Schweiz (GESKES)

The main objectives are the promotion of competences in clinical nutrition as well as their scientific, theoretical and practical implementation. Doctors, nutritionists, pharmacists and nurses, as well as other occupational groups active in the food sciences, are actively involved in our society for the still young subject "Clinical Nutrition". Internationally, we maintain good contacts with the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN), the German, Austrian and French specialist companies.

GESKES aims to promote scientific and clinical exchange of ideas and experiences in Switzerland, regardless of commercial interests. It conducts scientific conferences and training and advanced training events. It informs physicians, pharmacists, nutritionists, nutritionists and other health care professionals about the progress in clinical nutrition and is also adequately concerned with educating the public about new findings and developments. It promotes relations with societies and associations of related areas of expertise.
