Society for Pediatric Pneumology eV / Gesellschaft fur Padiatrische Pneumologie e.V. (GPP)

The “Society for Pediatric Pneumology” (GPP) is the scientific specialist society for pediatric pulmonary medicine in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Founded in Hanover in 1978, the GPP now brings together around 900 doctors and scientists. It sees itself as representing the interests of pediatric pneumologists in public.

Goals:
The GPP is committed to scientific progress in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the respiratory organs in children and adolescents. It is dedicated to promoting research, networking and exchange between scientists and clinicians, and disseminating new findings in the field of pediatric pulmonology. The company is committed to providing optimal outpatient and inpatient medical care for affected children and young people. Another particular concern is the further training of doctors and medical assistants in pediatric pulmonology.
