Mission Statement:
The Society for Thrombosis and Haemostasis Research eV (GTH) is a non-profit association in the sense of an interdisciplinary, scientific-medical society and serves exclusively the purposes of science and further education.

The goals of the GTH are:
• The promotion and support of scientific research in the fields of thrombosis, hemostasis, and vascular medicine and biology;
• The association of researchers from German-speaking countries to promote and support interdisciplinary research and cooperation in these fields;
• The promotion of international cooperation among its members;
• The provision of a forum for scientific discussion;
• The formation of working groups dedicated to specific research goals, as well as the promotion and coordination of their work;
• The promotion of young scientists in their field;
• Promoting the dissemination and exchange of subject-related ideas and knowledge by supporting scientific contacts among members and with organizations with related interests - this promotion is achieved by holding scientific meetings and interdisciplinary congresses and by issuing subject-specific publications;
• The dissemination of knowledge in the field of thrombosis and hemostasis research to the interested public.
