Swiss Society for Vascular and Interventional Radiology (SSVIR) / Die Schweizerische Gesellschaft fur vaskulare und interventionelle Radiologie

The Swiss Society for Vascular and Interventional Radiology is a non-profit-making medical sub-specialty society whose members are radiologists who are interested in exchanging experiences in the field of interventional and / or vascular radiology.

Founded in 2001, the society is now run by an Executive Committee consisting of five members. The company's goals are quality, professionalism and ethics in dealing with patients. It is mainly active in advanced training, the evaluation of “good medical practices”, in the advanced training of the next generation in interventional radiology and in promoting the subject and its multidisciplinary character.
