The University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy has been known by many names and been in many locations in its storied history. But from its humble beginnings in rented halls in Downtown Chicago to its current spot as a world-renown teaching and research institution with campuses in both Chicago and Rockford, Illinois, the institution has always been at the forefront of the ever-changing world of Pharmacy.

The University of Illinois College of Pharmacy Office of Continuing Education and Meeting Services partners with the University of Illinois College of Medicine Office of Continuing Medical Education.

The University of Illinois College of Medicine (UI COM), Office of Continuing Medical Education is the University of Illinois’ accredited provider for continuing medical education (CME) activities.

The Office of Continuing Medical Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and is responsible for coordinating the application submission, review, approval, and monitoring process for all approved CME activities.

The Office in Chicago oversees the activities at all four UI COM sites (Chicago, Peoria, Rockford, and Urbana). Coordinators at each site provide guidance to activity directors and applicants on the process of CME at the University of Illinois.
