The Medical University of Wrocław conducts studies in 10 fields of study in Polish (medical, medical and dental, pharmacy, medical analysis, physiotherapy, dietetics, public health, nursing, obstetrics, medical emergency) and 2 in English (medical and medical and dental) . They offer doctoral studies, which from year to year are becoming more and more popular among candidates, as well as postgraduate studies. They DEVELOP SCIENCE Interdisciplinarity and responding to the needs of modern medicine - these are the scientific priorities of the Medical University in Wrocław. They chose three disciplines that are crucial to their development: - Healthy aging - which they understand very broadly: there are no healthy seniors without healthy adults, and these grow out of healthy children. An aging society requires comprehensive measures and well-thought-out health programs. - Translational medicine - today it is impossible to develop science and apply for significant grants without close cooperation of basic and clinical research. They use their assets - well-functioning theoretical facilities and the proximity of a clinical hospital. They have also established the Biobank of the Medical University, which will provide their units with access to high-quality biological material. - Clinical epidemiology - creating an appropriate infrastructure for population studies that will allow to start research involving a group of people living in Lower Silesia and to participate in large multicentre studies. The implementation of scientific projects (about 500 of them every year at their university) is supervised by specialists and managers employed at the Science Support Center.Commercialization and protection of intellectual property are handled by the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer.
