Adel M. Bassily-marcus MD

Adel M. Bassily-Marcus, MD, is currently serving as director of the Surgical ICU at Mount Sinai Health System in New York, New York, USA. He also serves as director of clinical operations for the Institute for Critical Care Medicine and critical care informatics director at Sinai Health System. He is a graduate of Ain Shams University Medical School in Cairo, Egypt, and has been practicing critical care medicine at Mount Sinai for the past 18 years. His areas of interest include quality and standardization of care delivery across complex health systems and developing quality metrics for ICU populations.
