Adrian Stanley MB ChB, MD, FRCP, FRCS

Dr. Stanley worked as a junior Doctor in London and Edinburgh of After graduating from Edinburgh University, including a two-year post as a Lecturer in Medicine at Edinburgh University where he completed an MD thesis. He finished his training with a one-year Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australia, prior to taking up his current post as Consultant Gastroenterologist at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Honorary Clinical Associate professor at Glasgow University.

He has been invited to advise NICE and SMC on new technologies and drug treatments and was invited to join the RCP (London) Map of Medicine project. He was elected for a three year period to the British Society of Gastroenterology Liver committee. Dr. Stanley is currently on the organizing committee of the Scottish Society of Physicians and the annual RCPEd advanced Gastroenterology and Hepatology course.
