Adriana MD

Dr. Adriana Hermida has been the Director of Electroconvulsive Therapy Service at Wesley Woods Geriatric Hospital since 2007. She is an Assistant Professor at Emory University Medical School, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science. She completed her residency training at the University of Chicago and her Geriatric Psychiatric fellowship at Northwestern University. Dr. Hermida is a consulting physician in the community and outpatient clinic. She is the Associate Director for the Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship, she mentors Geriatric Fellows, psychiatry residents and medical students. She is involved in research with transcranial magnetic stimulation and neuroimaging in Alzheimer’s diseases.
