Adrienne Bruce Shannon MD

Dr. Adrienne Bruce Shannon is a PGY-6 in General Surgery with an interest in surgical oncology. She received her BA from Vanderbilt University in Molecular and Cell Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 2012 and her MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2016. She graduated from medical school with the AAMC's Medical Education Research Scholars certificate and recently completed two years of research time under the mentorship of Dr. Giorgos Karakousis in the Division of Endocrine and Oncologic Surgery. She is currently working as an Assistant Instructor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in the USA.
