Alan R. Muster MD

Alan Muster is senior vice president, Wellstar Medical Group Specialty Division, WellStar Health System. He earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed his residency at Rhode Island Hospital and his fellowship at the Brown University Hospitals, all in Providence, R.I. He is board certified in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine.

Dr. Muster served as medical staff president at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital from 2004 to 2005. He has served as a member of and chaired numerous hospital and system committees. Currently, he serves on the Wellstar Foundation Board, the Wellstar North Fulton Hospital Regional Board, and the board of Wellstar Clinical Partners.
