Albert B. Knapp MD, FACP

Dr. Knapp, MD, FACP, AGAF is an academic board certified internist and gastroenterologist practicing in New York City. Dr. Knapp’s areas of expertise include all aspects of gastroenterology, hepatology and advanced diagnostic/therapeutic endoscopy: gastroscopy, enteroscopy, colonoscopy, colonoscopy with ileoscopy, small bowel capsule endoscopy and liver biopsy. Dr. Knapp’s practice is located at 760 Park Avenue (on the Northwest corner of 72ndStreet). This 2500 square foot state-of-the-art medical office comes complete with a Joint Commission-approved endoscopy suite that is staffed by board certified anesthesiologists, registered nurses and endoscopy technicians who are duly licensed in New York State. Dr. Knapp performs the majority of his elective procedures in his office but also has clinical privileges at both the NYU Langone Medical Center and the Lenox Hill Hospital.
