Alberto Ortiz MD, PhD

Albert Ortiz, MD, PhD is Chief of Nephrology and Hypertension at Fundación Jiménez Díaz. Alberto does translational and clinical research in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, and Bioinformatics applied to kidney disease, hypertension, and vascular disease. Their current projects aim at identifying novel mediators of kidney and vascular injury in order to develop novel risk stratification and therapeutic strategies.
