Alexander Kim Nugent MD

Dr. Alex Nugent is a Glaucoma Specialist at the Kaiser Permanente. After finishing medical school in London, England he moved to the Bay Area where he was a postdoctoral research scholar in uveitis at Stanford University. After two years in the laboratory, he returned to clinical medicine, completing an internal medicine internship at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. He subsequently returned to Stanford University for his ophthalmology training where he was chief resident in his final year. He then moved to Los Angeles where he was a clinical instructor and glaucoma fellow at Doheny Eye Institute/USC Eye Institute at USC.
