Dr. Komar is a fellowship-trained Urogynecologist and Board Certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist. She works with her patients to find treatments that best fit their lifestyles. Dr. Komar treats a broad range of pelvic floor disorders including prolapse of the vagina, uterus, bladder or rectum, urinary incontinence, bowel incontinence, voiding, pelvic floor dysfunction, fistulas (vesicovaginal, ureterovaginal, and rectovaginal), congenital disorders related to the gynecologic and urologic system, childbirth and pregnancy-related pelvic floor problems as well as complications of mesh and gynecologic surgery.

Dr. Komar received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She went on to earn her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical College in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Komar completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and completed her fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery at Northwestern University. She is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, the American Urogynecologic Society, the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, and the Society of Urodynamics & Female Urology.
