Alka M. Arora MD

Alka M. Arora, MD, joined the team at the Orlando Health Cancer Institute in 2016, serving as a medical oncologist and hematologist. Dr. Arora is board-certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine. Dr. Arora earned her medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India. She completed her internal medicine residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York, followed by a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Brookdale University Medical Center.

Prior to joining the Orlando Health Cancer Institute, Dr. Arora was practicing at Sand Lake Cancer Center. Previously, she served as a chief resident and faculty supervisor for internal medicine at the Brookdale, Jamaica and Flushing Hospital Medical Center.

In addition to her medical practice, Dr. Arora has served as an assistant professor at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine since 2010.
