Amanda Lucas, MEd, MBA, is executive director of Clinical Operations for the Ohio State Neurological Institute, executive director of Ohio State Harding Hospital and COO of Ohio State’s Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Practice Plan. In these roles, she oversees all the administrative aspects of five academic departments (Neuroscience, Neurology, Neurological Surgery, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Psychiatry), four hospitals (Brain and Spine Hospital, Harding Hospital, Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital and Talbot Addiction Medicine) and the associated ambulatory clinics.
Amanda came to Ohio State in 2011 from Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where she was the administrator of Behavioral Health since 2006, with oversight of the Child Psychiatry Division at Harding Hospital. Prior to 2006, she was employed for 15 years with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where held a series of progressive leadership roles in both the clinical and research areas of behavioral health.
Amanda has a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in counseling education from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Point Park University in Pittsburgh.
