Amy E. Blatt BA, MD, FACP

Dr. Blatt, a native of Pennsylvania, majored in Biochemistry at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA and received her MD degree from Medical College of Pennsylvania- Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency training, including Chief Residency, at the University of Rochester. Since 2007, she has worked as an academic hospitalist with dual appointments in the Internal Medicine and Pediatric Departments. She also acts as the Assistant Director for the Internal Medicine Third Year Clerkship and as Associate Program Director for the Med-Peds Residency.

Dr. Blatt's academic interests include medical education, quality improvement, and transition of care for young adults with chronic health care needs. She serves as Medical Director for the 6-3400 inpatient unit and is director of an Inter-Professional Quality and Safety module for students in the Schools of Medicine and Nursing.
