Anders Juul PhD

Professor Anders Juul is being recognized for his scientific leadership in the field of paediatric endocrinology. The award is for Juul’s breakthrough studies on the effects of hormones and endocrine disrupting chemicals on child growth and puberty, and causes of increasing male infertility. This is the first time a Danish researcher has received the award.

Juul is chair of EDMaRC and Head of the University Department of Growth and Reproduction at Rigshospitalet, Denmark. Among his most notable contributions to the field is the establishment of the international research centre EDMaRC, a centre focusing on educating and researching in endocrine disruption of male reproduction and child health.
