Dr. Andre Pinto is an Associate Professor at the University of Miami, where he serves as Director of Gynecologic Pathology, Director of the Pathology Residency Program, and Director of the combined Breast/Gynecologic Pathology Fellowship Program. He completed his residency training at the Jackson Memorial Hospital/ University of Miami, followed by two fellowships in Surgical Pathology and Women's and Perinatal Pathology at the Brigham and Women's Hospital.
Dr. Pinto has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in the field, and book chapters, and is the co-editor of the two upcoming Survival Guides in Gynecologic Pathology. He has presented several lectures nationally and internationally, online seminars and on-demand content, and directed a few Interactive Microscopy courses, at both Palms Springs and at the USCAP Annual Meetings. He is an active member of professional organizations such as the Florida Society of Pathologists, the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathologists, and the International Society of Gynecological Pathologists. His research interest includes morphologic features and biomarkers in gynecologic malignancies, with a focus on mesenchymal neoplasms.
