Doctor Andrea Rossi is a specialist in Geriatrics and Gerontology.
He specializes in Nutrition for the Elderly, Successful Aging, Cardiovascular Prevention, and Cognitive Decay.
In 2003 he graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Medicine and Surgery of Verona, where he obtained a Ph.D. in Geriatric Medicine in 2011 and a Specialization in Geriatrics in 2007. He carried out post-doctoral training in basic research and on aging at the University of Pittsburgh in the United States and continued the collaboration with several colleagues from the National Institute of Aging in Baltimore and the Translational Research Institute in Orlando.
Currently, he holds the position of Director of the Geriatrics Unit at the HUB Cà Foncello Hospital in Treviso and is also a contract professor at the Treviso Medicine and Surgery Course.
He is a member of prestigious Scientific Organizations, including the Italian Academy of Geriatrics, of which he is currently Secretary, the European Society of Geriatric Medicine (EuGMS), and has been Secretary of the Section of the Italian Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology (SIGG) of Triveneto since 2011 to 2017.
