Andrew C. Hecht BA, MD

Dr. Hecht is the Chief of Spine Surgery for the Mount Sinai Health System and Chief of Spine Surgery at the Mount Sinai Hospital. He also serves as Director of the Spine Center of Mount Sinai Doctors, the Faculty Practice, and Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and of Neurologic Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Hecht is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Harvard Medical School as well as a trauma fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Hecht completed a Spine Surgery Fellowship at Emory University Spine Center. Dr. Hecht holds dual appointments in orthopaedic surgery and neurosurgery.
