Andrew J. Lovy MD, MS

Andrew J. Lovy MD, MS, is a fellowship trained Hand and Upper Extremity surgeon and Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is skilled in the treatment of arthritic and traumatic disorders of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. His expertise includes arthroscopic and minimally invasive treatments of nerve compression syndromes, repair and reconstruction of tendon injuries, and sports injuries. Additionally, he has a particular interest in brachial plexus injuries, peripheral nerve surgery and microvascular reconstruction.
Dr. Lovy received his medical and master’s degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, graduating with distinction in clinical research. He then completed his internship and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Lovy then completed his fellowship training at the world renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN in hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery.
