Mr. Andrew Tapp qualified from Kings College Hospital and then trained in London; firstly in Medicine and then in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with posts at the Hammersmith Hospital, Kings College Hospital, and St Georges Hospital. A 2-year stint in research enhanced his knowledge of the scientific principles behind modern medicine and taught him how to lead research.
He was appointed to The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and then to his current trust as a General Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a remit to run the Urogynaecology service.
At the same time, Mr. Tapp commenced private practice in the Nuffield Health Shrewsbury Hospital and the Apley clinic at the Princess Royal Hospital. His practice has continuously developed as he has introduced new surgical treatments to the county both within his private and NHS practice.
