Ann-Louise McDermott, MBBCh, FDSRCS, FRCS, PhD is a Consultant Paediatric Otolaryngologist at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital, UK. Her specialist interests are paediatric rhinology including paediatric endoscopic anterior skull base surgery, as well as paediatric bone-anchored hearing implantation.

Ann-Louise has been very active in the development of the Birmingham paediatric rhinology and anterior skull base programme which provides a successful and unique paediatric sub-speciality service in the UK. She continues to lead the Birmingham Paediatric Bone Anchored Hearing Implant programme as she has done for more than a decade, and is still very involved in teaching and research in this field.
