Aparna Iyer MD

Dr. Iyer is board-certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She completed her residency training in psychiatry in New York. She was selected as a Chief Resident during her final year of residency. She then remained at Albany Medical Center, where she worked as an assistant professor and faculty member.

She is an adjunct assistant professor and faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Iyer also works in private practice in Frisco, TX, where she sees outpatients. She has a special interest in working with women who are pregnant and postpartum, as well as in physician wellness.
