April N. Smith PharmD, BCPS

April N. Smith earned her Pharm.D. degree at Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions, Omaha, Nebraska, in 2007. She completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at the Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska, in 2008. Dr. Smith is a clinical pharmacist, surgical services (solid organ transplantation, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, inpatient pharmacy) at Nebraska Medical Center (full-time 2008-2009, per diem 2009-present). She became a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist in 2009. She has been an associate professor of pharmacy practice at Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions since 2009. Her clinical practice is at CHI Immanuel Medical Center, acute care (medical/surgical, orthopedic, and bariatric surgery).
