Dr. Lang joined the faculty of UCSD in 1999. She is a Professor In Residence in the Department of Psychiatry and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health. She is also the Co-Director of the Experimental Psychopathology Track in the SDSU/UCSD Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Lang's research focuses on the assessment and treatment of anxiety and trauma-related disorders in Veterans with an emphasis on complementary and alternative approaches. She is the Director of the VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS) Center of Excellence for Stress and Mental Health (CESAMH) and Co-Director of the VASDHS Advanced Fellowship in Women's Health. Dr. Lang is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches. She teaches Psychology 116ABC, a year-long course in Clinical Psychology Research.
Dr. Lang's research primarily involves the assessment of psychotherapy for anxiety and trauma-related disorders. Her emphasis is on military and veteran populations. She is the Associate Director of the VASDHS Center of Excellence for Stress and Mental Health (CESAMH). Dr. Lang is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in anxiety and trauma-related disorders. She teaches and supervises evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches.
