Arnd Dominik Schlosshan LRCP, LRCS, LRCPS, MRCP, MD

Dr. Schlosshan has over 15 years of experience in managing all aspects of cardiac disease. He has been a Consultant Cardiologist at the Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust since 2010 and has received three NHS National Clinical Excellence awards. His specialist interest is in the management of patients with heart valve disease (for example aortic stenosis and mitral regurgitation). He leads one of the largest heart valve clinics in the UK. He is the current secretary for the British Heart Valve Society. Dr. Schlosshan is the clinical lead with a national reputation for advanced cardiac imaging in one of the largest cardiac centers in the UK. Under his leadership, Dr. Schlosshan developed one of the largest and most modern echocardiography departments in the UK and founded one of the largest specialist heart valve clinics in the UK. Dr. Schlosshan is a leading member of the specialist valve team at the Leeds General Infirmary providing advanced imaging for patients with heart valve disease and guiding novel heart valve procedures such as transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and Mitraclip.
