Dr. Babu received his BA Magna Cum Laude from Rutgers University-New Brunswick and his medical degree at Rutgers - New Jersey Medical School as part of the combined BA/MD program. He pursued a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine/Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year. He then completed a fellowship in PM&R Sports Medicine at the Spaulding/Harvard Medical School program. He now serves as the Associate Program Director for the Harvard/Spaulding PM&R Residency Training Program.
Dr. Babu is board certified in PM&R and Sports Medicine. He is a member of the Mass General Sports Medicine Center and is an Instructor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School. He serves as a team physician for the New England Revolution MLS team and for the USA Paralympic Soccer team. He also serves as a consultant for the New England Patriots, Boston Bruins, Harvard University, Suffolk University, and Curry College.
