Audrey Obara BSc

Audrey has extensive experience in transaction advisory, capital raising, investment appraisal, business valuation, technical accounting and corporate governance matters. She is a Senior Investment Manager in charge of healthcare investments at Swedfund International AB, the development finance institution of the Swedish State. Swedfund’s goal is to increase access to, and improve affordability of, quality healthcare services in Africa and Asia. Audrey serves on the board of AAR Health Care Holdings Limited (an East African chain of outpatient centres) and Orilus Investments Holdings Pte. Ltd. (a holding company that owns the largest hospital chain in Eastern India). She has worked extensively in the East African region and is keen to participate in innovative and sustainable private sector initiatives to improve healthcare outcomes in the region. Audrey is a holder of a Bachelor of Science (Actuarial Science) honours degree from the University of Nairobi, a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a CFA Level III candidate.
