Dr. Sikora graduated magna cum laude from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio before attending Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia where she obtained her medical degree, graduating magna cum laude. In medical school, she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and was the recipient of numerous awards for scholastic achievement. After finishing a medical internship at Emory University, she completed her dermatology residency at Oregon Health and Science University, was then appointed Assistant Professor of Dermatology, and became actively involved in clinical research and the education and training of dermatology residents, medical students and primary care physicians.
Dr. Sikora specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She developed the Contact Dermatitis Clinic at SkinCare Physicians that focuses on evaluating potential causes of allergic skin reactions through patch testing. In her clinical practice, Dr. Sikora uses injectable fillers, Botox and other neuromodulators, and carries out treatments with fractional rejuvenation (Fraxel and other lasers), skin tightening (Thermage), body sculpting, and performs laser treatments for photorejuvenation, redness and broken blood vessels, brown spots, scarring, and tattoo removal.
Using her knowledge about skincare products and experience in aesthetic dermatology, Dr. Sikora serves as a Beauty Product Expert for Allure Magazine. She has also lectured regionally and nationally on a variety of topics to dermatologists and contributes to other publications such as InStyle, The New York Times, and Women’s Health.
