Dr. Bruce L. Davidson, MD, MPH, board-certified in Pulmonary and recertified twice in Critical Care Medicine, was educated at Haverford College and Temple University Medical School, received training in internal medicine training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, in pulmonary medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, and in public health (epidemiology) at Johns Hopkins University. He served 13 years as a Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Pulmonary-Critical Care Medicine Division of the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle.
He served at Weill Cornell Medical College of New York City at its branch campus in Qatar, from 2006-to 2009 as Senior Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs, Professor of Medicine, and Consultant in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Hamad General Hospital. He is an international consultant on medical education and research in the clinical setting in large teaching hospitals and has led planning work in Qatar, Bahrain, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is a past President of the US National Tuberculosis Controllers Association and served as the Director of Tuberculosis Control for Philadelphia, USA. Currently, he is actively involved in research projects with colleagues in Qatar and Poland.
