Bryan J. Langley

J. Langley as the Executive Director of the Indiana Department of Homeland Security. As the leader for the state's homeland security, Executive Director Langley is responsible for the state's emergency management and homeland security efforts, including planning, training, emergency response and recovery, certifications, grants administration and fire and building safety, which includes building construction plan review and all manner of inspections for the public's safety: mainly public buildings and structures and safety at public events. He also serves as the director of the Counter Terrorism and Security Council, which is chaired by Indiana's Lieutenant Governor.
br/> Mr. Langley previously served as Global Security Manager at Cummins, Inc., a Fortune 200 company with more than 55,000 employees and a presence in 190 countries. Previously, he was a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton Consulting. He worked in the White House from 2005-2009 as the U.S. Assistant Chief of Protocol, and served in various roles on the Bush-Cheney campaign. He also worked in Washington D.C. in the Department of Education.

Mr. Langley has a degree in Criminal Justice from California State University-Bakersfield. As Executive Director for IDHS, Mr. Langley serves on the Executive Policy Board for the Indiana Intelligence Fusion Center, the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force Executive Board, the U.S. Attorney's Anti-Terrorism Advisory Council, and the Indiana Counter-Terrorism and Security Advisory Committee.
