Carlo Cappelli

Prof. Carlo Cappelli was born in Lonato and graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Brescia. He obtained a Specialization in Endocrinology and Replacement Diseases at the University of Brescia. From the 2002/2003 academic year to 2004/2005 he was the holder of a Research Grant funded entirely by the University of Brescia, for the project in the MED-13 sector (Endocrinology and Replacement Diseases) entitled "Evaluation the prevalence of thyroid cancer in nodules less than one and a half centimeters in diameter and innovative strategies in their therapy ". He held the position of Researcher in Internal Medicine (confirmed in 2008). Since the 2017/2018 academic year he is an Associate Professor of Endocrinology at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Brescia. He is Director of the School of Specialization of Sports Medicine and Physical Exercise at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Brescia for the three-year period 2019-2022.
