Carlos Duke PhD

Dr. Carlos Castano Duke, PhD, received Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Tecnológica Pereira (UTP) in Colombia, where he was an assistant professor in the Anatomy Department. Neurosurgery specialist at Vall d’Hebron Hospital in Barcelona and PhD from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Radiology specialist at Bellvitge Hospital. He did internships in Interventional Neuroradiology at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) with Professor Fernando Viñuela, and at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Bicetre, in Paris, with Professor Pierre Lasjaunias. Between 1999 and 2007, he was the clinical head of the Radiology and Interventional Neuroradiology Unit in the Santa Creu I de Sant Pau Hospital. Since 2007, he has served as head of the Interventional Neuroradiology Department at Germans Trias.
