Carmine Simone MD, FRCSC, FCCP

Dr. Carmine Simone is a thoracic surgeon, Chief of Surgery and Co-Program Medical Director, Surgery Health Service at the Toronto East General Hospital. He has courtesy privileges at Sunny brook Health Sciences Center and Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario. He went to medical school at McMaster University in Hamilton and graduated in 1998. He completed his thoracic surgery and adult critical care training at the Toronto General Hospital, University of Toronto in 2004. His clinical areas of interest are lung and esophageal cancer, mediastinal tumors and metastatic cancers to the chest. He is a Lecturer at the University of Toronto, Division of Thoracic Surgery.
